Recent Beauty Buys! ft Giorgio Armani, Mac, Bobbi Brown and Origins

Recent Beauty Buys ft Giorgio Armani, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Origins
Hey lovelies! Today I have a little haul for you, these are a few beauty products I have picked up over the past two weeks. I decided I would try not to buy any beauty products unless I really needed to like if I ran out of foundation - kind of like a spending ban but only for beauty products. I can't say I have been very restrained judging by this haul but I just couldn't resist these items as I had been lusting over a couple of them for a while now and the deals/discounts lured me in!

First off House of Fraser, I ordered online as they had 10% off beauty so it was a perfect opportunity to pick up the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation I had been wanting to try for ages after hearing rave reviews! I got the shade 5.5, I have used it a few times so far and I really like it. It has buildable coverage, doesn't feel or look heavy/cakey and gives a nice natural glow to the skin, I wouldn't say it's dewy but it's not matte either. I also ordered the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream - another product I had heard great things about, I've been using this in the morning and I really have been loving it! It is so hydrating, feels lovely to apply and is great as a base for concealer.

Then I placed a order on Debenhams as they were having 10% off beauty (10% off beauty is still running online at Debenhams - Link) I picked up two MAC Paint Pots - one in 'Rubenesque' which is a gorgeous golden peach shade with gold shimmer. I saw this on Sandy's blog - 'Absolute Beaut' She has a fantastic blog! If you don't read her blog already I really recommend you check it out! Anyway Sandy did a post with Rubenesque Paint Pot and after reading her post I wrote it on my mental wish list immediately! It is a beautiful shade that is perfect for summer and would look great applied on the lids on its own as well. The second paint pot I got was 'Painterly' I purchased this as I thought it would be a great base for any eye look as it is a skin toned shade.

Lastly a purchase from Origins, they had deal on where if you purchase any moisturiser you get a free Plantscription Eye Cream! Firstly such an amazing deal! I picked up the VitaZing SPF 15 Moisturiser as I have a sample size and I really like it. It has a sheer tint to it, the moisturiser is a greyish colour with tiny pigments in it that give a subtle tint to the skin when applied, it's not a tinted moisturiser though as it has no coverage. I really like it as it makes my skin look healthier and adds a little warmth and moisturises my skin, it's not the most moisturising moisturiser so I don't use it everyday but I like to use this in the morning under my make-up as a base. I think it is also a great product for no make-up days or on holiday if you are going to the beach and don't want to wear make-up. It's also oil free so good for oily skins too. So as I purchased a moisturiser I got a free Plantscription Anti-Ageing Eye Cream worth £36! I've used the eye cream a couple of times but I can't really say much about it as I need to use it more, but first impressions are that it is quite thick and creamy, and feels nice on the eye area.

So that's all the beauty purchases I have made recently, Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think?
