I love Mac as a brand but it's one of those brands that I go through fazes of always buying their products then not purchasing anything for a few months! I haven't purchased anything from Mac for a while but for my birthday I received this Mac blush in 'Harmony' as one of my presents from my boyfriend. It had been on my list of products I want to try. Mac describe it as a 'muted rose-beige brown', it is a blush but I mainly wanted to use this for contouring as it is a warm brown shade, but no orange tint to it which a lot of bronzers tend to have and it's also matte.

I've been really loving this blush (as a bronzer), you can use this shade as a blush but on my skin tone it works best as a bronzer. The main thing I love about this blush is how easily it blends, I often find with a lot of bronzers I've tried they aren't the easiest to blend and can apply patchy, Mac's Harmony blends in beautifully and easily, and as it is a pink based brown rather than orange based you don't have to worry about looking orange. It is nicely pigmented and has a soft finely milled texture. Overall I love this blush for contouring and bronzing up the skin, I'd even go as far to say that this could be one of my favourite contouring products?!

Let me know if you have tried this blush and what you think?

  1. that is so gorgeous!

  2. I've been meaning to pick this up for ages to try as a contour! xx

  3. This is such a gorgeous colour, especially if you're quite fair. I tend to use colours like that to contour (similarly to you). I can't quite get on with a very dark bronzer so shades like that are perfect.

  4. This is such a gorgeous colour!

  5. This is gorgeous! I really want to try the MAC blushers so I will keep my eyes peeled for this :D xo

  6. Harmony looks great. And I like how despite it being a blush, it's versatile enough to be a contour. Got to love a dual purpose product :) But seeing as I have a tan/olive complexion I don't think it'll be enough as a contour but I can see it working well on my skin tone as a blush.

  7. Looks like a gorgeous bronzer shade, I want to try more blushes from MAC!

  10. Apparently I'm slacking in the MAC blush department... why haven't I gotten this yet?!
