So I went shopping yesterday and of course made a b-line straight for Boots, as you do! I didn't have anything in mind that I 'needed' to get but as I'm sure most of you beauty lovers know... Boots baskets can quite easily fill up even when you just pop in for 'essentials' which I did do. I picked up a few essentials like cotton buds, nail polish remover, etc... but then I also picked up some beauty products I didn't necessarily need, but you know how it is!
L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution - £4.99
As I was browsing the aisles of boots, I saw the L'Oreal 3 in 1 purifying micellar solution, I had seen this on a few blogs and ogled at it before, but never actually made a purchase. If you have ever tried Bioderma before or similar products, which I'm sure you have! This is the same type of thing - a water based, oil solution that removes make-up, but it is lot more easily acessible in the UK and cheaper too at just £4.99 for 200ml! I love Bioderma for removing my make-up before I do a deep cleanse, so I'm hoping I will love this too! It is currently on offer in Boots for £3.33.
Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon 'Orange Punch', 'Peach On The Beach' - £7.99
A little heads up - Bourjois are on 3 for 2 at the moment in Boots. I picked up two of their Colour Boost Lip Crayons, Orange Punch which is a true orange, and Peach On The Beach which is a peachy pink. These felt really nice when swatched on my hand, they have a decent colour pay off and seemed very moisturising. They are also supposed to be 10 hour wear and have SPF 15. I'm looking forward to trying these out!
Bourjois Bronzing Primer - £9.99
I'm really looking forward to trying this out as well, I swatched it on my hand and it feels very smooth and blended in easily. It is a cream bronzer that you are supposed to apply underneath your foundation. I have the Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universal, which is another cream bronzer but obviously a lot more expensive so I'm looking forward to seeing how the Bourjois one compares.
Hydraluron Moisture Booster - £24.99
I have been waiting to try this for ages, it's not cheap but it was on offer at Boots for £16.66 (offer is still on!) so I added it to my basket! I won't go to much into it but it is a serum that you apply underneath your moisturiser, it contains hyralunic acid which helps to boost moisture levels in the skin. I have dehydrated skin so I can't wait to try this!
L'oreal Ever Riche No Sulphates Shampoo and Conditioner - £5.99 each
As you may know if you have read my haircare routine post (link) I like sulphate free shampoos and conditoners, so when I saw these new ones from L'oreal I thought I would try them out. I got the ones for dry fine hair, I'm not in love with the smell but it's ok. I haven't tried them yet but i'll let you know what I think. These shampoos and conditioners are currently on offer for 2 for £9.
Avene Thermal Spring Water
I picked this up as I am going to florida soon, I thought I would take it with me to spray to cool me down, it's just water in a can basically.
So thats everything I got, let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think? I will be reviewing them when I have tried them out so keep an eye out for that!
